Cypress Giant Tree Group Trail Introduction
Located in Wufeng Township, the Cypress Giant Tree Cluster Trail is approximately 4 kilometers long. Originally a logging cart path for transporting timber in the early days, it has now become a popular hidden gem for hiking and sightseeing. The diverse forest vegetation and fresh air create an enchanting experience, as if opening a door to another time, allowing visitors to explore the breathing and life of ancient forests. At 2.8 kilometers in, you will be greeted by the breathtaking beauty of giant trees! Here, you can find five spectacular giant red cypress trees, each over a thousand years old, with the first and second numbered trees having existed for over 2000 years, making them one of the most precious natural heritages of Hsinchu's mountains. The trail has a gentle slope and good conditions, making it suitable for families with children. Along the way, there are detailed information boards, allowing for knowledge gain while walking. On clear days, there are also opportunities to gaze at the magnificent Dabajian Mountain, surrounded by stunning scenery.
