Huwei Iron Bridge Introduction
The Small Wooden Bridge Rebirth Scenic Walking Area was originally a small wooden bridge for the public to cross the Huwei River. During the Japanese colonial period, it was rebuilt as a steel structure bridge for transporting sugarcane to the sugar factory. After being damaged by flooding in 2012, it was reconstructed and has now become a scenic walking area for a round-trip of half an hour. There are also many art pieces to enjoy on the bridge piers.
