Hukou Wetland Introduction
This wetland grassland ecological area located on the section of Lucun Road in Kouhu Township, Yunlin County, was originally a farm owned by Taiwan Sugar Corporation. After being struck by Typhoon Wayne in 1986, the influx of seawater rendered the large farmland, which was primarily used for sugarcane cultivation, unusable. After years of abandonment, the land was transformed into a paradise for wild plants through the passage of time, featuring no artificial modifications or planting. This area, combined with the wetland leisure park planned by the local government, has created a unique rural charm.
