Longsheng Temple Introduction

Longsheng Temple, which enshrines Guandi (the deity of warfare), has a history of over a century and serves as a place of faith for local residents. In the Showa 10 year (1935), a major earthquake occurred in Japan, which caused some damage to the walls of Longsheng Temple. Therefore, it was repaired in 1947, and has undergone several renovations since, making it different from the original structure. Although the old building has not been completely preserved, the ancient artifacts that were removed during the renovations were not discarded but instead placed in the plaza in front of the temple and the Fuxing Old Tea Factory. Those interested in ancient artifacts can appreciate the craftsmanship of that time.
