Puziliao Putien Temple Introduction
Weng Wang Ye, accessible by boat, is located in Pao Dong Village, Sihhu, and is dedicated to the worship of the Weng Fu Qiansui. In earlier times, Pao Zi Liao used to have ferry services with Longmen Harbor in Penghu, thriving at one point. It is said that fishermen discovered a royal boat while catching sand shrimp, which contained the divine plaque and sacred letter of Weng Fu Qiansui, and they brought it back to the village for worship. During World War II, Weng Wang Ye instructed the believers of Pao Zi Liao through a medium to stay indoors at a certain day and time, helping the villagers avoid Allied air raids.
