Centered around the Pazi Liao Putian Temple, artists are invited to create artworks for this small fishing village, humorously reinterpreting Eastern Chinese mythology, in response to the legendary character of local temples. Notable local temples include the Haiqing Temple and the Bao Gong Temple, which feature popular mythological figures such as Judge Bao, Pangu, the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, Nezha battling the Dragon King of the East Sea, characters from "Journey to the West", and Chang'e flying to the moon, all as themes for painting. The total length of the artworks exceeds 1 kilometer, and through these interesting creations, Pazi Liao has gained more vibrancy. In 2018, to enhance the uniqueness of Pazi Liao, elements of local specialties, such as fish catches and fishing village life, were incorporated into the artistic creations. Additionally, the Tourism Bureau's mascot, "O Bear”, was used as a creative theme, leading to the creation of a 4D sculpture and a unique "double-sided painting" found only in Taiwan, forming the "O Bear Art Village." This has made the entire art village more lively and fun, attracting the attention of domestic and international tourists and becoming a popular spot for photography and social media posts.
