Through these interesting creations, Bazi Liao gains more vitality. In 2018, to make Bazi Liao more distinctive, local specialties that highlight the local character, such as catches and fishing village life, were incorporated into the concept of creating art pieces. Additionally, the tourism bureau's mascot "Wo Bear" was used as a creative theme, with 4D sculptures and Taiwan's unique "double-sided paintings," resulting in the creation of "Wo Bear Art Village," making the entire art village more lively and fun, attracting the attention of domestic and international tourists and becoming a popular spot for photos.

Bazi Liao "O-Bear Art Village" Introduction

Centered around the Puziliao Putian Temple, artists are invited to create art for this small fishing village, humorously reinterpreting Eastern Chinese myths and echoing the legendary colors of local temples. Notable temples in the Sihhu area, such as the Haiching Temple and the Bao Gong Temple, feature famous mythical figures like Bao Zheng (Justice Bao), Pangu, the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, Nezha's battle with the Dragon King of the East Sea, Journey to the West, and Chang'e flying to the moon as themes for the murals. The total length of the artworks exceeds 1 kilometer, infusing Puziliao with more vitality through these engaging creations. In 2018, to give Puziliao a more distinctive character, local specialty elements reflecting the area's heritage, such as fish catches and fishing village life, were incorporated into the artistic concepts. The tourism bureau's mascot, "Wo Bear Director," also served as a creative theme, featuring a unique 4D sculpture and the one-of-a-kind "double-sided painting," resulting in the "Wo Bear Art Village," making the entire art village more vibrant and exciting, attracting domestic and international tourists and becoming a popular spot for photos and social media posts.
