Centered around the Paozi Liao Putien Temple, artists are invited to create works that reinterpret Eastern Chinese mythology in a humorous way, reflecting the legendary colors of the local temples. Well-known mythological figures such as Bao Zheng from the Haiqing Temple and the Bao Gong Temple, Pangu, the Cowherd and the Weaver, Nezha battling the Dragon King of the East Sea, Journey to the West, and Chang'e flying to the moon are painted as themes, with a total length exceeding 1 kilometer. Through these interesting creations, Paozi Liao is infused with more vitality. In 2018, to enhance the uniqueness of Paozi Liao, local specialties such as catches and fishing village life were incorporated into the concept of artistic creation. Additionally, the tourism bureau's mascot "O-Bear" served as a creation theme, using 4D sculptures and the uniquely Taiwanese "double-sided painting" to create the "O-Bear Art Village," making the entire art village more lively and fun, attracting both domestic and international tourists and becoming a popular photo spot.
