Centered around the Puziliao Putian Temple, artists are invited to create art for this small fishing village, humorously reinterpreting Eastern Chinese mythology in response to the legendary colors of local temples. Notable themes include well-known mythological figures such as Bao Zheng from the Haiqing Temple and the Bao Gong Temple, Pangu, the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, Nezha battling the Dragon King of the East Sea, the Journey to the West, and Chang'e flying to the moon, with a total length of over 1 kilometer of mural creations. Through these engaging artworks, Puziliao is infused with more vitality. In 2018, to give Puziliao a more distinctive character, local specialties such as catches and village life were incorporated into the artistic creation concept. The mascot of the Tourism Bureau, "Bear Supervisor," was also chosen as a creative theme, leading to the establishment of the "Bear Art Village" with 4D sculptures and the unique "double-sided painting" of Taiwan, making the entire art village more lively and interesting, attracting the attention of domestic and international tourists and becoming a popular spot for photography.
