Sihu Haiching Temple Yixiantian Bicycle Path Introduction
Starting from Haiching Temple, one can traverse the Sihhu Wind Power Plant, cycling beneath the shade of Casuarina equisetifolia, with sunlight filtering through the leaves. The towering wind turbines slowly rotate, while birds chirp in succession. One can pedal gently at a comfortable speed, immersing oneself in the natural scenery. This serene and comfortable bike path was originally a cart road for agricultural bullocks and was opened as a cycling path in 2012. On both sides, coastal windbreak plants, Casuarina equisetifolia, are densely planted, making it one of the few green bike paths found along the southwestern coastal area. In addition to cycling, this path is also particularly suitable for an afternoon stroll, allowing visitors to wander through the woods and easily enjoy the wetland ecology. Pavilions are built along both sides of the path for tourists to rest and relax. The "Tianxia Yijia" sign seen along the way leads to the "Tianxia Yijia Veteran's Residence," a house arranged by veteran Guo Chengbo, who condensed his lifetime experiences into this space after retirement. When Mr. Guo was still alive, stepping inside one could see walls adorned with splendid past photographs, numerous collectibles, and he would share stories from his past. Now, one can only gaze at this story-filled house when passing by and reminisce about history.
