Jiaokeng Bridge Rest Area Introduction
Jiaobei Bridge Rest Area is located at the southernmost end of Changbin Township, Taitung, just a bridge away from Chenggong Township. It is a small settlement mainly inhabited by the Amis indigenous people. The "Jiaobei Bridge" symbolizes the boundary between Changbin and Chenggong, and in the Amis language, it is called "Carapongay," meaning "foggy place," reflecting the area's humid and misty climatic characteristics.
