Wushi Beach Introduction
Wushi Nose is located at the southern end of Changbin Township. The formation of Wushi Nose is due to volcanic rock magma reaching the surface, where it shrinks during the cooling process, often appearing in pillar-like structures with zeolite filling the gaps, which is commonly seen in the southern segment of the Central Mountain Range. It is called Wushi Nose due to the black color of the rock mass, and it is part of an eroded coastline, making coastal erosion pillars, sea caves, and marine grooves common scenic features. Many fish, shrimp, crabs, and other marine organisms inhabit the area, making it a natural classroom for understanding intertidal ecology. In addition, the ocean view along Provincial Highway 11 in this section is particularly spectacular, with the mountains, blue sky, and ocean complementing each other, making it a great place for a drive and to relax while looking at the sea.
