Yuchang Highway Introduction
The Yu-Chang Highway (Provincial Highway 30) connects Yuli in Hualien with Changbin in Taitung, covering a total length of 16.22 kilometers. The road is 9 meters wide and is the only highway that traverses the Coastal Mountain Range via a tunnel (2.66 kilometers long), significantly reducing the travel time from 2 hours to 30 minutes. It allows visitors to cross the Coastal Mountain Range and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Huatung Valley and the eastern coastline.
