Zhi Ka Xuan Green Forest Waterscape Park Introduction
Chikaxuan is the old name of Ji'an Township. In 1985, the Hualien County Government relocated its nursery to this area and re-planned and renovated it, making Chikaxuan an important base for natural ecology and a popular recreational spot on weekends. The park is rich in plant species, and the "Native Plant Area" showcases precious local indigenous species, serving as a textbook for ecological conservation. Additionally, there are eight major areas including the Aquatic Plant Area and Green Plaza. The Chikaxuan Riverside Park is open from July to August each year, and the most striking water feature is the 8-meter high 360-degree water slide added in 2016, along with the first artificial surfing pool in the eastern region. Visitors are reminded that there are height restrictions for the water park's facilities, so please follow the instructions of the staff to help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the water park. Aside from enjoying the many flowers, plants, and trees, every summer, children eagerly anticipate coming here to play in the free water facilities. The children's splash pool, wave pool, and the thrilling water slide are always crowded during the summer vacation, making it a great place for families to enjoy together.
