Manman Cycling Trail: A Short Trip to Guanghua Village. Guanghua Village was originally Guanghua Farm, the largest village in Ji'an Township. In the 1960s, the Veterans Affairs Council developed the wilderness on the north bank of Mugua River and established Guanghua Farm. The retired soldiers gradually settled down in this area, which remains the only military-affiliated reclamation farm in Taiwan. The stone dikes and walls throughout the village, along with the entrance archway of the farm, bear witness to the hard times of "competing for land with rivers and demanding food from stones." You are welcome to enter Guanghua and take a leisurely ride along the rural bike path, exploring the stories of the veterans' village through local tours.
