Ji-An Station Introduction

Ji'an Station, formerly known as Jinye Station, was established in 1914 and was originally created for the Japanese immigrant village in the area. After the end of Japanese rule, it was renamed to its current name. As the façade of the second most populous township in Hualien, the renovated Ji'an Station is a standard station of the East Taiwan Expansion Project, emphasizing transparent spatial design that transforms the "station" back into a "pavilion," allowing the beautiful scenery of Hualien to naturally permeate the station. The exterior walls retain their original flavor, bringing a sense of tranquility to visitors.
