Laomei Green Reef Introduction
Laomei Green Reef, also known as Laomei Stone Trench, is named for the large patches of seaweed that cling to the stone trenches, creating a lush green appearance. This unique landscape is rarely seen elsewhere in Taiwan, attracting many photographers and visitors who come to admire it. The most beautiful scenery typically appears from mid-March to early May, particularly during the Qingming Festival in April, when the entire coastal trench is covered with seaweed, forming numerous "green stone trenches" that dye the whole coast in vibrant spring colors.
