Yenmen Misty Rain Introduction
Xianshuipu, located in the southwest of Neitouli in the Neimen District, features remarkable landforms shaped from gray limestone, carved over the years by wind and rain into stunning cliffs. Coupled with the erosion of the Er'en River which creates a series of peaks, the entire mountain range resembles a flock of geese in flight, earning its name. The scenery at Yanmen is ever-changing, varying with dawn and dusk, sun and rain. Particularly dry soil conditions cause a spectacular sight of mist rising during rainfall, creating an ethereal landscape that has been recognized as one of the Eight Sights of Taiyang since the Qing Dynasty. The Yanmen Misty Rain Scenic Area boasts magnificent mountains and winding valleys, with a distant view of the Chianan Plain, making it a scenic route filled with diverse weather phenomena and breathtaking views.
