Yamuma Wang Zhu Yigui Cultural Park Introduction
Ya Mu Wang Zhu Yigui is considered the most famous figure in Neimen District. He moved to Taiwan during the Qing Dynasty and sparked the most sensational anti-Qing restoration of the Ming Dynasty wars across Taiwan with the Fifty-Two Heroes. He later ascended to the throne as an emperor but was ultimately captured and killed by the Qing army due to internal strife. However, Zhu Yigui's heroic image is deeply ingrained in people's hearts, leading the residents of Neimen District to build temples in his honor, with the Ya Mu Temple planned along with Xing'an Temple. In front of the temple courtyard, there is a well that was used by Zhu Yigui for drinking and raising ducks. It is said that tea brewed and duck eggs cooked with water from this well have a particularly sweet and tender flavor.
