Duck Mother Wang Zhu Yigui Cultural Park Introduction
Duck Mother King Zhu Yigui is considered the most famous figure in Neimen. He moved to Taiwan during the Qing Dynasty and, along with the 52 righteous warriors, instigated the most sensational anti-Qing Restoration movement in Taiwan, eventually ascending to the throne as an emperor. However, due to internal strife, he was ultimately captured and killed by Qing forces. Despite this, Zhu Yigui's heroic image is deeply ingrained in people's hearts, leading the residents of Neimen to build a temple and shrine for him, along with the Duck Mother Shrine and Xing'an Temple. In front of the temple grounds, there is a well, which was used by Zhu Yigui for drinking and raising ducks. It is said that tea brewed and duck eggs cooked with this well water have a particularly sweet and tender flavor.
