Nanhai Purple Bamboo Temple Introduction
Nanhai Purple Bamboo Temple features an attractive Chinese architectural style that captivates visitors. It is geographically situated in a "floating lotus" terrain, with the front of the temple located by the Lobster Fighting Port, providing an excellent environment. The nearby Song Jiang Weapon Museum is one of the main highlights for visitors. The museum displays a variety of Song Jiang weapon artifacts and showcases the facial makeup artworks of the 108 heroes from "Water Margin." Nanhai Purple Bamboo Temple is associated with the development of the dragon formation in martial arts, known as the "dragon dance," which evolved from the "Hundred Arts" of the Northern and Southern Dynasties. Its dragon formation is a "five-clawed golden dragon," measuring 180 feet in length and divided into 13 sections, equipped with dry ice and water spray devices in its mouth.
