Nanhai Purple Bamboo Temple Introduction
Nanhai Purple Bamboo Temple's Chinese architectural appearance attracts tourists to stop and admire it. Geographically, it features a "floating lotus flower" terrain, with the temple located in the Lobster Fighting Harbor, offering an excellent environment. Next to it is the Songjiang Weapon Museum, which is one of the highlights of the visit. The museum displays a variety of Songjiang weapon artifacts and showcases the face paintings of the 108 heroes from "Water Margin." Nanhai Purple Bamboo Temple is associated with the development of the dragon formation in martial arts, which is a dance of the dragon, evolving from the "Hundred Arts" of the Northern and Southern Dynasties. Its dragon formation is a "five-clawed golden dragon" measuring 180 feet in length, divided into 13 sections, with the dragon's mouth equipped with dry ice and water spraying devices.
