Native Plant Garden Introduction
The native plant garden located in Zuoying District is the first park in the country themed around native plants. Covering an area of 4.66 hectares, the park is constructed using ecological methods that are closest to nature, incorporating elevated terrain and the original water channels of the old Cao Gong Canal, creating a miniature landscape of natural ecology. The flowing wetland plant area, tropical plant area, monsoon rainforest, coral reef area, and more provide an immersive and memorable experience. The park features over 60 species from 45 families of native Taiwanese plants, each accompanied by detailed explanations, making it like a living plant library. Additionally, there is a children's recreation area and an ecological interpretation center, allowing visitors to enjoy an educational and enjoyable experience in the verdant ecology—the best destination for leisure and learning.
