Chih Ming Tang Introduction
The Qiming Hall, also known as the Wumiao, is a fusion of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, serving as a shrine for the three teachings. It primarily enshrines the two holy figures of Confucianism and Taoism, alongside Yue Fei and Zheng Chenggong. Established in the 25th year of the Guangxu era (1899) in the southwestern part of Lianchi Pond, its exterior is magnificent and adopts Eastern palace-style architecture. On the birthdays of various deities, devotees hold grand ceremonies to welcome and worship the gods, making it one of the important local festivals.
