Chengyi Zuoying Ciji Temple Introduction
Chengyi Tzu Chi Temple, also known as Chengyi Tzu Chi Palace or Zuoying Tzu Chi Temple, is commonly referred to by locals as the Old Ancestor Temple. It is dedicated to Baosheng Dadi (the God of Life). Established in the 58th year of the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty (1719 AD), it has a history of nearly 300 years. Although it has undergone multiple renovations and has changed significantly from its original appearance, the preserved plaques, couplets, and stone tablets still convey the simple yet comforting power of that era.
