Mango Cafe Qiu (temporarily closed) Introduction

Come to the Zuoying Lotus Pond Confucius Temple for the best coffee in the harbor! Mango culture, as its name suggests, is a reflection and expectation after years in the coffee industry. As we celebrate 15 years of Mango, we hope to stand like Hualien Coffee and New York Coffee for a century, writing our own unique coffee culture. Taiwan has many of the world's best baristas, cuppers, and roasters, but coffee has always been a foreign import. We follow European and American preferences, and thus, we hope to start with architectural vocabulary and internalize it into a spiritual level, creating a form of coffee that belongs to Taiwan. The way to enjoy aromatic cups and tasting cups is unique to Taiwan's tea culture, applied to coffee tasting, and has been practiced at Mango Coffee for many years, which will naturally continue at Mango Culture. We also hope to find our style in brewing, aiming to break away from the traditional limitations of latte, Americano, and cappuccino by providing you with the freedom to choose from different estate coffees in various forms—black short, long, iced, hot, or milk coffee. Moreover, we combine Taiwan's abundant specialty fruits with coffee in various fruity coffee drinks. We aim to break the established notion of pairing coffee with cheesecake, pancakes, and other Western pastries, making coffee a part of everyday life by seeking suitable Taiwanese desserts and traditional rice dishes to truly integrate coffee into Taiwan's local life and culture. Mango Coffee at the Confucius Temple offers exclusive gourmet coffee drinks: The shop uses a classic vintage FAEMA - Urania espresso machine from the 1950s, allowing you to taste a different coffee flavor than before, along with various single-origin coffee choices. The fruity coffee drinks are exclusive to the Kaohsiung Confucius Temple store, using the signature Zhangshi Baba coffee as the base, mixed with fresh fruit juice for a diverse coffee tasting experience. Taiwanese Good Tea: We insist on using Alishan green tea and Sun Moon Lake black tea, which are fragrant and sweet, prepared with fresh milk from our milk supplier to create milk tea full of health and nutrition. Special Meals: To make coffee more integrated into daily life, we specially selected century-old Taiwanese cake shops, traditional market rice dishes, and unique sandwiches combining Chinese and Western styles, ensuring that coffee truly blends into Taiwan’s local cultural life. Coffee paired with Western snacks is no longer the only option. Specialty Coffee Sales: Mango Coffee has a comprehensive temperature-controlled storage system and high-end roasting equipment, ensuring high-quality preservation of green coffee beans. Throughout the roasting and packaging process of all coffee beans, we adhere to preserving the complete flavor for that moment of brewing, allowing you to easily enjoy the beauty of coffee.
