Mango Café (Temporarily Closed) Introduction
Come drink the best coffee at the Confucius Temple in Lotus Pond, Zuoying! Mango Culture, as implied by its name, is a reflection and expectation after years of our commitment to the coffee industry. After 15 years, we hope to stand the test of time like Cafe Flora and Cafe New York, writing a unique coffee culture. Taiwan has many of the world's best baristas, cuppers, and roasters, but coffee is always an imported product. We interpret it according to the habits and preferences of Europe and the United States; thus, we aspire to start from the architectural vocabulary and internalize it into a spiritual level that creates a coffee form unique to Taiwan. The way of drinking from aroma and tasting cups is a unique tea culture in Taiwan, which has been applied to coffee tasting at Mango Culture for many years and will continue in Mango Coffee. In brewing, we also hope to find our own style, breaking away from the established proportions of lattes, Americanos, cappuccinos, etc., to offer coffees from various origins, allowing you to freely choose between black short, long, iced, hot, and milk coffee. Additionally, there are many fruit coffee blends that combine Taiwan's abundant and distinctive fruits with coffee. We aim to break the conventional impression of pairing coffee with cheesecake, pancakes, and other Western pastries, hoping to make coffee more integrated into daily life, seeking compatible Taiwanese pastries and traditional rice dishes. We want coffee to truly blend into Taiwan's local cultural lifestyle. Mango Coffee Confucius Temple Store Special Food and Beverage: The café uses a classic antique coffee machine, the FAEMA - Urania espresso machine from the 1950s, allowing you to taste a different flavor of coffee than before, and provides a variety of single-origin coffee choices. Fruit Coffee Mixtures: Exclusive drinks at the Mango Coffee Kaohsiung Confucius Temple Store use a signature blend of Daxiong-Baolao coffee as the coffee base, mixed with fresh fruit juice to provide more diverse coffee drinking options. Taiwanese Good Tea: We insist on using Taiwan's Alishan green tea and Sun Moon Lake black tea, which are full-bodied and sweet-flavored, and are made with fresh milk from local dairies to create fresh milk tea, bringing more health and nutrition. Specially Crafted Dishes: To integrate coffee into daily life, we have specially selected traditional Taiwanese pastries from century-old shops, traditional market rice dishes, and unique sandwiches that blend Chinese and Western styles, making coffee truly merge into Taiwan's local lifestyle; coffee paired with Western snacks is no longer the only option. Gourmet Coffee Sales: Mango Coffee has a complete temperature-controlled storage system and high-end roasting equipment, ensuring the green coffee beans are well preserved and that during the roasting and packaging process, we maintain the most complete flavor for the brewing moment, allowing you to easily enjoy the beauty of coffee.
