Wun-Chuang Soy Sauce Cultural Factory Introduction
【Evaluation Validity Period: 2024/12/17~2027/12/16】Wanzhuang Soy Sauce was established in 1909 and is the oldest soy sauce brand in the Xioluo area. The founder, Mr. Chuang Ching-Lin, utilized fermentation techniques combined with the unique water quality and climate of the Xioluo region to brew a rich and flavorful pure brewed black soybean soy sauce, laying a strong foundation for Wanzhuang Soy Sauce's future commitment to "health, nature, and deliciousness," which has always been highly regarded and favored by consumers. Wanzhuang is located by the Zhuoshui River in Xioluo, where the water quality is excellent, and the climate near the Tropic of Cancer is more conducive to soy sauce brewing conditions. It mainly produces Taiwanese-style black soybean soy sauce and has now been in operation for 100 years. In order to pass on the culture of soy sauce brewing, Wanzhuang has combined tourism and culture to establish Taiwan's first "Soy Sauce Tourism Factory." The old factory in Xioluo has been transformed and upgraded, showcasing new ideas and charm through overall redevelopment planning, allowing visitors to learn about the brewing process of traditional Taiwanese black soybean soy sauce.
