Xiluo Theater Introduction
The Xiluo Theatre was built in 1940, funded by the prominent Lin family in Xiluo at the time. It has become quite famous in the area, forming a bustling shopping district with nearby businesses, often referred to as Xiluo West Street. It is now listed as a historical building, beautifully preserved to this day. The layout of the Xiluo Theatre is symmetrical, with staircases located on both sides. The first floor features a stage and seating area, with workspaces made of cypress wood arranged on either side of the stage, and a cypress wood truss structure in the middle. The second floor consists of a wooden seating area and a projection room. The exterior façade has gables equipped with ventilators and louvered wooden windows, while the gable features a Baroque-style stone base and incorporates decorative patterns and brick surfaces that exhibit elements of neoromanticism.
