It is recommended that visitors inquire beforehand. Thank you. Yimei was established in 1934, starting as a small pastry shop in Taipei City during the Japanese occupation. Today, it is one of Taiwan's well-known pastry enterprises. For over seventy years, "Yimei" has upheld the spirit of "sincerity and honesty" in its baking, accompanying Taiwanese people through their golden years. In 2006, to inherit the philosophy of Chairman Kao Teng-Chiao, which is "making pastries is the profession of honest people and a conscientious enterprise," the "Yimei Demonstration, Training, and Observation Center" was established at the Nankan factory in Taoyuan. In 2009, it was renamed "Yimei Food Production, Ecology, and Lifestyle Area" and received certification as an excellent tourism factory from the Ministry of Economic Affairs in the same year. A visit to the Yimei Tourism Factory satisfies the cravings of food enthusiasts, with the air filled with the aromas of pastries, bread, and rich coffee. The product offerings are diverse, ranging from cookies and candies to cooking ingredients and frozen treats, all delivered fresh and safe for consumption. The vibrant Yimei Eco-Park showcases production equipment that reflects the company's historical trajectory; the elegant history display area chronicles Yimei's growth story step by step. In addition to the observation restaurant featuring Taiwanese cuisine, which offers a delightful tasting journey, there are also DIY activities in the dessert zone where visitors can enjoy the fun and sense of accomplishment of making their own products with prior reservations. Yimei lets you enjoy shopping, fun, and go all at once!
