Shuanglong Colorful Suspension Bridge Park Introduction

Shuanglong Waterfall Park (since January 1, 2025) allows visitors to drive into the park. Shuanglong Waterfall is located southeast of Shuanglong Settlement and consists of an upper and a lower waterfall, reminiscent of two dragons in the sky, hence the name. It takes about 60 minutes to reach Shuanglong Waterfall from the Catholic Church, with scenic views of Shuanglong Settlement and terraced fields along the way. The small forest path leading to the waterfall is lined with cherry and plum trees, and during the blooming season, the faint fragrance of flowers dispels the fatigue of the journey. Opened in 2020, the Shuanglong Colorful Suspension Bridge is 342 meters long and 110 meters deep, making it the longest and deepest suspension bridge in Taiwan, crossing a magnificent valley. The complete circular trail and scenic platforms are perfect for leisurely walks in the mountains and experience the beauty of the indigenous tribe. The Water Source Suspension Bridge is dedicated to transporting drinking water and is off-limits to the general public, accessible only to maintenance personnel. There is also a narrow water channel with strong currents, supplying irrigation water for the entire village; the beautiful source of Shuanglong Waterfall is vital for the livelihood of the community. Upon entering the canyon's downstream waterfall area, known as the "Black Forest," the roar of the waterfall grows louder; visitors can enjoy the grand scene of water cascading down the mountain walls and relish the refreshing mist that washes away worldly dust. After visiting Shuanglong Waterfall, one feels like "a lively dragon." The Old Water Source Suspension Bridge is for maintenance workers only; visitors please stop! Open hours for the Shuanglong Colorful Suspension Bridge are Thursday to Tuesday from 08:00 to 17:00, with Wednesday closed. The last entry to the suspension bridge is at 16:00. The bridge may be temporarily closed due to typhoons or other natural disasters, or maintenance work; for open information, please contact the service hotline.
