Dai Mu Temple Introduction
The Earth Mother, the supreme deity governing the mountains and rivers of the earth, is one of the Four Sovereigns in Taoism, ranking alongside the Jade Emperor who presides over the heavenly realm. Since ancient times, there has been the saying "Heaven is Yang and Earth is Yin, Heaven’s Lord and Earth’s Mother," reflecting humanity's respect for both land and nature. The temple facilities draw inspiration from concepts such as Wuji, Taiji, the Two Principles, the Four Symbols, the Five Forms, and the Eight Trigrams, all of which display remarkable ingenuity and are truly worthy of admiration.
