Dizang Temple Introduction
The Earth Mother Supreme is the deity who governs the mountains and rivers of the earth. She is one of the Four Sovereigns in Taoism and stands alongside the Jade Emperor who presides over the heavenly realm. Since ancient times, there has been the saying "Heaven Yang, Earth Yin; Heavenly Father, Earth Mother," reflecting humanity’s reverence towards the land and nature. The temple structures draw inspiration from concepts such as Wuji (the Void), Taiji (the Supreme Ultimate), the Two Forms, the Four Symbols, the Five Elements, and the Eight Trigrams, each embodying remarkable ingenuity and worthy of admiration.
