Dihua Temple Introduction
The Earth Mother is the deity who rules over the earth and mountains, and is one of the Four Sovereigns in Taoism, alongside the Jade Emperor who governs the heavenly realm. Since ancient times, there has been the saying, "Heavenly Yang and Earthly Yin, Heavenly Father and Earthly Mother," reflecting humanity's reverence for land and nature. The temple facilities draw inspiration from concepts such as Wuji, Taiji, the Two Essentials, Four Symbols, Five Forms, and Eight Trigrams, all of which are intricately designed and truly admirable.
