Golden Town Introduction
The Golden Town is located at the southern end of Gongguan. In the past, it was a typical agricultural village. During the busy farming season, the yellow rice ears in the fields swayed with the wind, creating a golden wave, which was a stunning sight. If you visit between May and July, along Taiwan Route 6, the yellow flowers of the Cassia fistula bloom vibrantly on both sides of the road, and the petals falling with the breeze resemble a rain of gold, making the scenery quite enchanting. This is also the origin of the name Golden Town. In order to create an ideal home, Golden Town has transformed from an agricultural village to a diversified recreational tourism industry. The locals have formed the "Golden Town Promotion Association," integrating pottery, bamboo weaving, unique homestays, culinary delights, garden landscapes, flower farms, and sightseeing farms, enhancing the richness of the local leisure industry and making the town more distinctive. In addition to these unique shops, a bicycle route along the agricultural water channels has been planned to meet the needs of cycling visitors. Through the joint efforts of the residents, Golden Town has become a place that combines tourism, industry, and culture, successfully creating a refined leisure tourism community.
