Gold Town Introduction
Golden Town is located at the southern end of Gongguan. It was once a typical agricultural village, where during the busy farming season, mature yellow rice stalks in the fields swayed with the wind, creating a golden wave that was a beautiful sight. If you visit between May and July, walking along Taiwan Route 6, the golden blossoms of the African tulip tree on both sides of the road create a stunning view, as the petals fall like golden rain, which is how Golden Town got its name. To create an ideal community, Golden Town has transformed from an agricultural village to a diverse recreational tourism industry. Locals have even formed the "Golden Town Promotion Association," integrating pottery, bamboo weaving, unique B&Bs, dining delicacies, garden landscapes, flower farms, and recreational farms to enrich the local leisure industry and enhance the town's character. In addition to these unique shops, a countryside waterway cycling route has been planned to satisfy biking tourists who love to wander. With the collective efforts of the residents, Golden Town has become a place that combines tourism, industry, and culture, successfully creating a refined leisure tourism community.
