Golden Town Introduction
Golden Town is located at the southern end of Gongguan. It used to be a typical agricultural village. During the busy farming season, golden rice stalks mature in the fields, swaying with the wind and creating a beautiful landscape of golden waves. If you visit between May and July and walk along Provincial Highway 6, you will see the stunning golden flowers of the Cassia fistula blooming on both sides of the road. The falling petals carried by the breeze resemble a rain of gold, making the scenery quite enchanting, which is also the origin of the name "Golden Town." To create an ideal home, Golden Town has transformed from an agricultural village to develop a diverse leisure and tourism industry. The local residents have even organized the "Golden Town Association," combining pottery, bamboo weaving, unique homestays, culinary delights, garden landscapes, flower farms, and leisure farms to enhance the richness of local leisure industries and give the town more character. In addition to these unique shops, a rural irrigation bike path has been planned to meet the needs of cycling enthusiasts. Through the joint efforts of the residents, Golden Town has become a place that integrates tourism, industry, and culture, successfully creating a refined leisure tourism community.
