Golden Town Introduction
Golden Town is located at the southern end of Gongguan and was once a typical agricultural village. During the busy farming season, the fields filled with ripened golden rice swayed with the wind, creating a beautiful scene of golden waves. If you visit between May and July, you can walk along Route 6, where the flamboyant golden blooms of the Cassia fistula lining the road seem to fall like a rain of gold petals, creating a stunning landscape. This is also the origin of the name "Golden Town." To create an ideal home, Golden Town has transformed from an agricultural village into a diverse leisure and tourism industry. The locals have even formed the "Golden Town Association," combining pottery, bamboo weaving, unique homestays, gourmet dining, garden landscapes, flower farms, and tourist farms to enrich the local leisure industry and give the town more character. In addition to these unique shops, a scenic cycling route along the agricultural water channels has been planned to meet the needs of cycling enthusiasts. Through the collective efforts of the residents, Golden Town has successfully become a place that blends tourism, industry, and culture, creating a refined leisure tourism community.
