Shihmen Reservoir Introduction
This is a gravity-type reservoir, which features the only serrated weir spillway in Taiwan. Surrounded by lush green mountains, the panoramic view from above captures the beauty of the scenery. The shimmering surface of the water adds to the enchanting atmosphere of the mountains and rivers. The reservoir nurtures a rich ecosystem of flora and fauna, including a variety of fish, as well as the natural broadleaf forest and secondary forest, making it a great place for exploring and enjoying nature.
