If you take the train and pass through Tai'an Station on the Mountain Line, keep an eye out the window and you'll notice a "bullet-shaped" structure standing by the railway; it's the "Taichung Line Earthquake Recovery Memorial." This memorial was established to commemorate the strong earthquake that occurred in the early morning of April 21, 1935 (Showa 10) in the middle reaches of the Daan River. This earthquake brought unprecedented disaster to the then state-owned Taichung Coastal Railway.

This memorial was established to commemorate the strong earthquake that occurred at dawn on April 21, 1935 (Showa 10) in the middle reaches of the Daan River. This earthquake brought unprecedented disaster to the government-operated Taichung Coastal Line at that time.

Transportation Methods：(1) Take a train to Fengyuan Station, then transfer to Fengyuan Bus (Fengyuan - Taian - Dajia) (very few services), and get off at Taian Station. (2) Take a train to Taian Station, then walk for about 20 minutes to the old Taian Station.
