芳苑燈塔於民國67年1978建造，塔高37.4尺，燈高35.7公尺，塔身為八角形鋼筋混凝土造，塔身漆以黑白直條紋，裝設四等電燈，每10秒明5秒暗5秒，光力28000支燭光，相當於1000瓦的亮度。塔內有發電機房、倉庫、宿舍等設施，屬於交通部航管局管轄，是座國際燈塔。

Wang Gong Fishing Port Introduction

The obvious landmark of Wang Gong - Fangyuan Lighthouse, can be seen from a distance standing tall along Provincial Highway 17 coastal road.

Fangyuan Lighthouse

In the past, "Wangong Fishing Lights" was one of the eight scenic spots in Changhua, but in recent years, the number of fishing boats has decreased, and the bustling scene is no longer observed. However, when you arrive at the seaside and climb up to the Wangong Fishing Port Viewing Platform, you can overlook the fishery harbor. Before high tide, you can see wooden boats returning to port laden with oysters, and in the intertidal zone, you may spot mudskippers and fiddler crabs; with some luck, you might find clams in the mud. Following the road behind the Fangyuan Lighthouse towards Xinbao Village, there is a large area of mangrove forest that has been successfully restored by the Changhua County Agricultural Bureau over the years. In the mangroves, which are about 1 meter high, egrets and other water birds reside, making it an excellent natural ecology classroom.

Take the National Highway No. 1 (Zhongshan Expressway) and exit at Puyan Interchange → take Provincial Highway 76 towards Fuxing and Puyan → continue straight to connect to the West Coast Expressway (National Highway No. 61) at Fuxing Interchange → exit at Wanggong Interchange → turn left onto Fanghan Road → turn right onto County Road 118-1 → turn right onto Fishing Port Road to reach Wanggong Fishing Port. B. Take the National Highway No. 1 (Zhongshan Expressway) and exit at Yuanlin Interchange heading towards Xiluo → take Yuanlu Road (County Road 148) → turn right onto Fanghan Road → turn left onto County Road 118-1 → turn right onto Fishing Port Road to reach Wanggong Fishing Port.
