芳苑燈塔於民國67年1978建造，塔高37.4尺，燈高35.7公尺，塔身為八角形鋼筋混凝土造，塔身漆以黑白直條紋，裝設四等電燈，每10秒明5秒暗5秒，光力28000支燭光，相當於1000瓦的亮度。塔內有發電機房、倉庫、宿舍等設施，屬於交通部航管局管轄，是座國際燈塔。

The obvious landmark of Wang Gong - Fangyuan Lighthouse, can be seen from afar as it stands tall along the coastal road of Provincial Highway 17.

Fangyuan Lighthouse

Wangong Fishing Fire was once one of the eight scenic spots in Changhua. In recent years, the number of fishing boats has decreased, and the former prosperity is no longer seen. However, when you arrive at the seaside and climb up to the viewing platform at Wangong Fishing Port, you can overlook the fishing port. Before the tide rises, you can see boats returning to port carrying oysters, and in the intertidal zone, you might encounter mudskippers and fiddler crabs. If you're lucky, you might find clams in the mud. Along the embankment road behind the Fangyuan Lighthouse, heading towards Xinbao Village, is a large mangrove forest successfully rehabilitated by the Agriculture Bureau of Changhua County over the years. This mangrove forest, about 1 meter high, is home to water birds like egrets, making it a wonderful natural ecological classroom.
