Hanbao Wetland Introduction
Located in the coastal central wetland of Changhua County, this area experiences very little human disturbance, providing an excellent wintering environment for migrating birds. Up to 160 species of migratory birds come here to forage and spend the winter. The fiddler crabs burrow in and out of the soft sand, and under the warm sunlight, the black mud and sand sparkle, inviting you to take off your shoes and walk barefoot into the water, with shallow streams and mud accompanying your steps, sending a refreshing cool sensation from your toes upwards. You can often spot various small creatures like shellfish, crabs, clams, oysters, and little fish playing hide and seek with you, allowing you to enjoy the fun of the wetland.
