Hanbao Wetland Introduction
Located in the coastal central wetlands of Changhua County, this area experiences very little human interference, providing an excellent wintering environment for migratory birds. Up to 160 species of migratory birds come to this wetland to forage and overwinter. The fiddler crabs emerge and retreat in the soft sand, and under the warm sun, the dark mud and sand shimmer, tempting visitors to kick off their shoes and walk barefoot into the water. Accompanied by the gentle flow of shallow water and mud, a refreshing feeling rises from the toes. You can also often spot various creatures such as shellfish, crabs, clams, fresh oysters, and small fish, playing hide and seek in the wetland's charms.
