Hanbao Wetland Introduction
Located in the central coastal wetlands of Changhua County, it is minimally disturbed by human activity, providing an excellent winter habitat for migratory birds. Up to 160 species of migratory birds come to this wetland to forage and spend the winter. The mudflat is home to fiddler crabs that burrow in and out, and under the warm sun, the black sands shimmer, tempting visitors to remove their shoes and walk barefoot, feeling the cool sensation of the earth rising from their toes. One can often spot various shellfish, crabs, clams, oysters, and small fish, with different small creatures playing hide-and-seek, adding to the charm of the wetland.
