Hanbao Wetland Introduction
Located in the coastal central wetland of Changhua County, this area experiences minimal human disturbance, providing an excellent winter environment for migratory birds. Up to 160 species of migratory birds come here to forage and spend the winter. The fiddler crabs burrow in and out of the soft sand, and under the warm sunlight, the black mud and sand glisten, inviting visitors to take off their shoes and walk barefoot into the shallow water and mud. The refreshing sensation travels up from the toes. One can often see various shellfish, crabs, clams, fresh oysters, and small fish, engaging in a game of hide-and-seek with various small animals, experiencing the fun of the wetland.
