Han Bao Wetland Introduction
Located in the coastal central wetland of Changhua County, this area experiences minimal human disturbance, providing an excellent wintering environment for migratory birds. As many as 160 species of migratory birds come to this wetland to forage and winter. The mud crabs burrow in and out of the soft sand, and under the warm sunlight, the black mud and sand sparkle, inviting visitors to take off their shoes and walk barefoot into the area. As your feet tread through the shallow water and muck, the coolness from the ground rises up. You can often spot various small animals like clams, crabs, oysters, and small fish playing hide and seek, allowing you to experience the charm of the wetland.
