Yuanlin Shrine Ruins Introduction

During the Japanese colonial period, many shrines were built in Taiwan by the Japanese, serving as places for worshiping gods. Shrines can be divided into official and local shrines. Yuanlin Shrine was established in the 6th year of Showa (1931) as an unclassified shrine and was classified as a village shrine in the 17th year of Showa (1942). It is one of the shrines in Yuanlin District during the Japanese colonial period.
