Longding Historic Trail Introduction
Formerly known as the "Tiao Yan Ancient Trail," it was a trade route connecting coastal Changhua and the mountainous areas of Nantou in the past. Located at Dairen Pit on Baiguan Mountain in Yuanlin, it is also known as the "Dairen Pit Ancient Trail." The path is constructed from local stone materials, featuring a gentle and easy terrain, making it suitable for a leisurely afternoon stroll. Both sides of the trail are lined with orchards, including star fruit, lychee, and longan trees. Visitors in the summer can see the branches laden with fruit, complemented by a rich and colorful forest landscape formed by camphor, acacia, and fragrant wood trees. Additionally, seasonal flowers such as impatiens, orchids, and calla lilies bloom throughout the year.
