Jasmine Flower Hedge Dream Hall Introduction
Jasmine was introduced to Huatan Township from northern Taiwan in the 1950s. Due to Huatan Township's unique growing climate and environment, jasmine has become the lifeblood of the local industry, with production leading the entire country. In recent years, the jasmine industry has been gradually declining due to the challenge posed by the influx of inexpensive jasmine from outside regions. To revitalize the jasmine industry in Huatan Township, the Huatan Farmers' Association has collaborated with farmers to change traditional farming practices, adopting safe agricultural methods to cultivate non-toxic jasmine. After various trials and setbacks, they finally established the "Jasmine Huatan" brand, with all produced goods made from locally sourced jasmine that has passed SGS testing for pesticide-free status. Upholding their original intentions and persistence, they have received numerous domestic and international awards in recognition of their efforts. In 2013, the Huatan Farmers' Association converted an 80-year-old granary into the "Jasmine Huatan Dream Hall," sincerely inviting everyone to visit the Dream Hall to admire, taste, and enjoy jasmine!
