Huatan Railway Station│Local Train Industrial Tourism Introduction
It is said that there is an interesting story behind the name change of the station. During the Japanese colonial period, a member of the Japanese royal family took the official train to this station and was quite displeased to hear the stationmaster repeatedly calling out "Qiaodongjiao," as it sounds similar to the Japanese term for "lower-class passenger." Later, it was discovered that it was the name of the station and not an intentional insult, leading to the order to change the inappropriate name to "Hua Tan." Exiting the station, visitors can see a bicycle rental point set up by enthusiastic locals, making it convenient for travelers to ride around Huilan.
