Chiko Mountain Introduction
Chike Mountain is located on the peak of the Central Mountain Range at an elevation of about 900 meters. The name "Chike Mountain" originates from the Japanese colonial period when the entire mountain was covered with Chike trees, a type of evergreen broadleaf tree known for its hard wood. At that time, it was exported to Japan to make gun stocks and gained significant notoriety. Nowadays, the mountain is planted with a large number of daylilies, which are also known as “worry-free grass.” Visiting here, surrounded by the golden flowers and gentle breezes, one truly feels that worries and troubles have completely vanished.
