Tiefen Waterfall Introduction
In Yu-li Township, Hualien County, the Tie-Fen Waterfall Recreation Area is one of the most beautiful and worthwhile tourist attractions in Dongfeng Village. The Tie-Fen Waterfall, also known as Shigong Waterfall, has a height of approximately 26 meters, with water flowing mainly from the mountain peaks on the west side of the Coastal Mountain Range. The cool water cascades down the towering cliffs like a silver ribbon, creating splashes and seemingly drifting clouds, reminiscent of a lost paradise that captivates visitors. The Tie-Fen Creek has developed a waterside park equipped with a parking lot, walking trails, recreational green spaces, and camping areas. Besides enjoying the waterfall, visitors can also play in the water, catch crabs, and have barbecues while camping. On weekends, many people come here for picnics and water activities, making it an excellent choice for escaping the summer heat.
