Tiefen Waterfall Introduction
In Yuli Township, Hualien County, the Tiefen Waterfall Recreation Area is one of the most beautiful and worthwhile tourist attractions in Dongfeng Village. Tiefen Waterfall, also known as Shigong Waterfall, has water that primarily flows from the mountain peaks on the western side of the Coastal Mountain Range. The waterfall is approximately 26 meters high, and the refreshing water cascades down the towering cliffs like a silver ribbon, creating splashes and a misty atmosphere, resembling a lost paradise that captivates visitors. The Tiefen Stream has been developed into a waterfront park, featuring facilities such as parking lots, trails, recreational green spaces, and camping areas. When visiting Tiefen Waterfall, one can not only admire the waterfall but also enjoy water play, crab catching, and camping barbecues.
