Beautiful Hualien is Taiwan's backyard. Located in the center of the Hwa-Dong Valley, Yuli and Zhuoxi are surrounded by mountains with fresh air, resembling a paradise on earth. The upstream streams of the Xiuguluan River such as the Qingshui River, Lakulaku Creek, and Heping River flow through vast and fertile alluvial areas, benefiting from the pure water sources of Yushan, the Central Mountain Range, and the Coastal Mountain Range. Additionally, the mineral essence and trace elements from the Eurasian and Philippine tectonic plates nurture the rice, endowing "Wow Good Rice" with its unique characteristics and flavors. The topography between the two mountains in the valley and the natural barrier of the Wuzhih Mountain Terrace in the north not only shortens the intense sunlight but also mitigates the harsh northeast monsoon in winter, creating a growing environment with significant day-night temperature differences. This allows the rice cultivation in the Yuxi area to have a longer growing season for storing energy and nutrients, resulting in a solid texture and taste.
