Hualien County Longfeng Jialiang Quality Rice Marketing Cooperative Introduction
The beautiful Hualien is Taiwan's backyard. Located in the center of the Hualien-Taitung Valley, Yuli and Zhuo County are surrounded by mountains and have fresh air, resembling a paradise on earth. The upper streams of rivers such as Qingshui River, Laculaku River, and Heping River form vast, fertile alluvial areas that not only receive pure water sources from Yushan, the Central Mountain Range, and the Coastal Mountain Range, but are also nourished by the mineral essence and trace elements from the Eurasian and Philippine tectonic plates, giving "Wow Good Rice" exceptional characteristics and flavors. The terrain between the two mountain ranges and the natural barrier of the Wuzhih Mountain Platform at the northern end not only shortens the intense sunlight but also mitigates the cold northeast monsoon in winter, creating a growing environment with significant temperature differences between day and night. This allows for two rice harvests a year in the Yuxi region, providing a longer growth period to accumulate energy and nutrients, resulting in a solid texture and flavor.
