Yuemei Mountain Trail Introduction
Yuebei Mountain Trail is located in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, and is part of the lower elevation forests of the northern section of the Coastal Mountain Range. It is the only national trail on the Coastal Mountain Range. Originally an industrial road for local residents, the southern section of the trail is gently sloping and easy to walk, while the northern section features pristine and natural forests with rich ecological resources. Due to its later development, it still retains the appearance of low-elevation broadleaf forest ecology, making it a trail that offers opportunities for natural ecological experience and education.
