Yue Mei Mountain Trail Introduction
The Yuemei Mountain Trail is located in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, and belongs to the low-elevation forests of the northern section of the Coastal Mountain Range. It is the only national trail on the Coastal Mountain Range. Originally a local residents' access road, the southern section of the trail is gentle and easy to walk, while the northern section retains its primitive natural forests and rich ecological resources. Due to its later development, it still preserves the characteristics of low-elevation broadleaf forest ecology, making it a trail that offers opportunities for natural ecological experiences and education.
