Established in 1922, Hsinchu Senior High School built a martial arts venue in 1926, which served as a gymnasium and a practice area for Kendo, nurturing a top-tier Kendo team known throughout Taiwan. Thus, this martial arts venue is commonly referred to as the Kendo Hall. Due to its high standards in design and construction quality, even after the roof was damaged and replaced with steel waves, it still retains its ancient charm.
