Xiangshan Station Introduction

Xiangshan Railway Station was built in 1928 and is a typical wooden building in the "Muku-style" architecture. The most distinctive feature of this style is the roof with eaves that extend from the gable walls on both sides, forming a triangle with a base of equal width. Although Xiangshan Railway Station is a small station, it has over seventy years of history and is currently the only surviving cypress-wood construction railway station in the country, making it one of the oldest among all railway stations in Taiwan.
