Xiangshan Railway Station Introduction

Xiangshan Railway Station was built in 1928 and is a typical wooden structure in the "Himuro" style. The most distinctive feature of this style is the triangular gable on either side of the roof, which extends out to the same width as the eaves. With a history of over seventy years, Xiangshan Railway Station is a small station among the railway stations in Taiwan, yet it is currently the only remaining wooden railway station built with cypress in the country, making it one of the oldest railway stations in Taiwan.
