17 Km Coastal Scenic Area Tourist Service Center Introduction
The Tourism Service Center of Nanjiao Fishing Port was completed in July 2006 and is a new attraction in the 17 Kilometer Coastal Scenic Area of Hsinchu City. The total floor area is 1,174 square meters. The appearance of the Tourism Service Center features blue and white colors, with a circular roof and cylindrical observation deck. The five-story bridge retains an observation space at the top, and the observation deck reaches a height of 29 meters, equipped with a scenic elevator, natural lighting, night lighting, and other user-friendly services. From the observation deck, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree view of the beautiful sea scenery and night views. To highlight Hsinchu's strong traditional glass craftsmanship, the building's exterior is coated with embedded eco-glass, showcasing a unique appearance reminiscent of a ship's deck and bridge. Inside, there is a visitor service desk with traditional industry exhibition cabinets to promote Hsinchu's characteristics. Adjacent to the Tourism Service Center are the Shell Park and the Old Port Recreational Area, with surrounding greenery and landscaping integrated into a larger multifunctional space for tourism, leisure, and entertainment.
