Seventeen Kilometer Coast Scenic Area Tourist Service Center Introduction

The Tourism Service Center at Nanjiao Fishing Port was completed in July 2006 and is a new attraction in the 17-kilometer coastal scenic area of Hsinchu City. The center has a total floor area of 1,174 square meters, and its exterior features a blue-and-white color scheme, a circular roof, and a cylindrical observation deck. The five-story structure retains an observation space at the top of the bridge tower, with the observation deck standing 29 meters high, equipped with a scenic elevator, natural lighting, night lighting, and friendly railings. From the observation deck, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree view of the beautiful sea and night scenery. To highlight Hsinchu's strong traditional glass-making industry, the building’s exterior is finished with embedded environmentally friendly glass, showcasing a unique appearance resembling that of a ship's deck and bridge. Inside, the visitor service desk also includes exhibition cases for traditional industries, promoting Hsinchu's characteristics. Adjacent to the tourism service center are Shell Park and the old port recreational area, all surrounded by well-maintained greenery, creating a multifaceted space for tourism, leisure, and entertainment.
