Kaicheng Temple (Tian Gong Temple) Introduction
Kai Cheng Temple (also known as the Tian Gong Temple), located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, was established in 1957. The temple is adjacent to Fushan Temple and is primarily dedicated to the Jade Emperor. Situated at the highest point of Jiufen, it offers visitors the opportunity to pray and worship while also enjoying a panoramic view of Jiufen. Jiufen has long been a must-visit tourist attraction for both domestic and international visitors. For photographers, Jiufen is an excellent spot to capture stunning images; from the platform in front of Kai Cheng Temple at the top of Jiufen Old Street, one can gaze upon the settlement. This location is special not only for its mountain views but also, on clear days, it allows for a distant view of the Shenao Fishing Port along the coastal highway, with the scenery being particularly breathtaking at sunset.
