Kai Cheng Temple (Tian Gong Temple) Introduction
Located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, Kaicheng Temple (Tian Gong Temple) was established in the 46th year of the Republic of China. The temple is adjacent to Fushan Temple and is dedicated to the Jade Emperor. Situated at the highest point in Jiufen, it serves not only as a place for the public to pray and worship but also offers a panoramic view of Jiufen. Jiufen has always been a must-visit tourist attraction for both domestic and international visitors, and it is also a great destination for photographers. From the platform in front of Kaicheng Temple at the top of Jiufen Old Street, one can overlook the settlements here. What makes this place special is not only the mountain scenery; on clear days, you can even see the Shenao Fishing Port along the coastal highway, and the view during sunset is even more breathtaking.
