Kaicheng Temple (Tian Gong Temple) Introduction
Kaicheng Temple (Tian Gong Temple) located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, was established in 1957. The temple is adjacent to Fushan Temple and is dedicated to the Jade Emperor. Additionally, it is situated at the highest point of Jiufen, allowing visitors not only to pray and make wishes but also to enjoy a panoramic view of Jiufen. Jiufen has long been a must-visit tourist attraction for both domestic and international travelers, and it is also a great spot for photographers. From the platform in front of Kaicheng Temple at the top of Jiufen Old Street, one can overlook the settlements here. The scenery is especially remarkable, as on clear days, it is possible to see the Shen'ao Fishing Harbor on the coastal highway, with the views being even more breathtaking during sunset.
