The Shan Jian Road Trail is located in Jiufen, heading towards Jinguashi, and serves as an ancient path connecting Jiufen to Jinguashi and Shuinandong. This trail was built along the mountain path used for gold mining in earlier years, and it allows visitors to reminisce about the old gold mining period with views of the old arch bridge (also known as the Golden Bridge) along the way, evoking a sense of nostalgia. The trail is situated on the eastern side of Keelung Mountain, and there are many residential houses beside the ancient path. Descending along this trail offers a distant view of the Yin-Yang Sea.

Shanjian Road Trail Introduction

The Mountain Tip Old Trail was paved with granite steps in 1997, officially named the "Sightseeing Trail," reflecting the government's approach to policy at that time. In the same year, several famous old trails in Jiufen were renovated for tourism development, with the original rustic stone steps replaced by wide and even granite stairs. When visiting Jinguashi, the Mountain Tip Road Sightseeing Trail is a highly recommended attraction. The Mountain Tip Old Trail was once a route connecting Jiufen with the Shui Nan Cave area, which gradually declined as fewer people used it following the construction of the highway. Built along the mountain path used for gold mining, it passes by the Water Channel Bridge (also known as the Golden Bridge), and beside the bridge, there is a secret garden known only to locals, which is not easy to find, evoking a sense of nostalgia as one walks. The trail is located on the eastern side of Keelung Mountain, and there are many local guesthouses along the old trail. Descending along this path allows visitors to enjoy a distant view of the Yin Yang Sea, with the entire journey taking about two hours.

Transportation Methods：1. Take Keelung Bus No. 1062 to "Jiufen Old Street" stop → Walk 500 meters (approximately 9 minutes) to reach your destination. 2. Transfer at Ruifang Train Station to Bus No. 788 to "Ge Ding" stop → Walk 120 meters (approximately 3 minutes) to reach your destination.

Remarks：1. Trail difficulty level: Leisurely mountain path (primarily consists of paved surfaces made of concrete and stone, designed for high-intensity use, with steep gradients often using stair-like structures for climbers) 2. Total length of the route is approximately 1.28 kilometers
