Wuerh Teapot Mountain Trail Introduction
The Wu'er Tea Pot Mountain Trail, also known as Tea Pot Mountain, is a hiking trail suitable for short round trips, with an elevation of about 600 meters. From the top of the mountain, the shape resembles a teapot without a handle, derived from its name. You can access the trailhead from the Gold Museum or the Chuanji Hall. The trail features a mix of uphill and flat paths, which may be slightly strenuous for those with lower stamina. The view of the entire Jinguashi area is spectacular. Tea Pot Mountain is composed of conglomerate and siliceous sedimentary rock. At the eastern peak, you can overlook the Pacific Ocean and gaze southward at Banping Mountain, as well as enjoy views of Keelung Mountain and the Romantic Road. On the opposite side, you can see the gradient of blue and yellow in the Yin-Yang Sea. In autumn and winter, the entire mountain is covered in silver grass, making it one of the popular spots for viewing this grass in northern Taiwan and the best vantage point in the Northeast Coast.
