Wulei Tea Pot Mountain Trail Introduction
The Wuer Tea Pot Mountain Trail, also known as "Tea Pot Mountain," is a hiking trail suitable for short round trips and has an elevation of about 600 meters. From Jinguashi, the peak resembles a teapot without a handle, which is how it got its name. The trailhead can be accessed from the Gold Museum or Quanjitang, with a mix of uphill and flat sections that may be slightly challenging for those with less stamina. The trail offers beautiful views of the entire Jinguashi Mountain. Tea Pot Mountain is formed of sedimentary rock and silicified conglomerate, and from the eastern peak, you can enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean, look south to Banping Mountain, and appreciate Keelung Mountain and the Romantic Road. On the other side, you can also see the blue and yellow gradient of the Yin-Yang Sea. In autumn and winter, the entire mountain is covered with silver grass, making it one of the popular spots for viewing silver grass in the northern region and the best high viewpoint in the Northeast Corner.
