Earless Tea Pot Mountain Trail Introduction
Wu'er Tea Pot Mountain Trail is a hiking trail suitable for short round trips, also known as "Tea Pot Mountain." At an elevation of about 600 meters, the summit resembles a teapot without a handle when viewed from Jinguashi. The trailhead can be accessed from the Gold Museum or the Chuanji Hall, featuring a mix of uphill and flat paths that may be slightly strenuous for those with less stamina. From the summit, hikers can enjoy the stunning views of the entire Jinguashi area. Tea Pot Mountain is composed of sedimentary rock and siliceous gravel. From the eastern peak, one can gaze at the Pacific Ocean, look south toward Banping Mountain, and admire Keelung Mountain and the Romantic Road. On the other side, the yin-yang sea showcases a gradient of blue and yellow. In autumn and winter, the mountain is covered in miscanthus, making it one of the popular spots for miscanthus viewing in northern Taiwan and a prime vantage point in the Northeast Corner.
