Wulei Tea Pot Mountain Trail Introduction
The Wuer Cha Hu Mountain Trail, also known as "Teapot Mountain," is a hiking trail suitable for short round trips, with an elevation of about 600 meters. From the top, it resembles a teapot without a handle when viewed from Jinguashi. The trailhead can be accessed from the Gold Museum or the Chuanji Hall, featuring a mix of uphill and flat paths that may be a bit challenging for those with less stamina. The trail offers spectacular views of the entire Jinguashi area. Teapot Mountain is composed of a mountain body made up of sedimentary rock and silicified gravel. From the eastern summit, one can overlook the Pacific Ocean, with Banping Mountain to the south, as well as views of Keelung Mountain and the Romantic Road. On the other side, the striking blue and yellow gradient of the Yin-Yang Sea can be seen. In autumn and winter, the mountain is blanketed with miscanthus, making it one of the popular spots for viewing miscanthus in the northern region, and it is also the best high vantage point in the Northeast Coast.
