Yin Yang Sea Introduction

Yin Yang Sea, located on the northern side of the Shuidan Cave settlement in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, is famous for its unique golden yellow and blue waters. It is a special geographical feature of the northeastern coastal area of Taiwan. The nearby Jinguashi Mountain is rich in pyrite, which, after weathering, forms copper and iron ions that dissolve in the water, creating iron hydroxide that adsorbs sediment, resulting in the yellow-brown suspended substances that contribute to the unique beauty of the yellow and blue gradient of the Yin Yang Sea. The color of the seawater in the bay appears yellow-brown due to natural minerals, creating a striking contrast with the blue water of the open sea, making it a natural color palette! At the T-intersection of Dongding Road and Provincial Highway 2, a straight road connecting to the azure sea against the backdrop of blue skies and white clouds resembles a classic scene from the anime "Slam Dunk," hence it is also referred to as "Little Kameyama."
