Golden Waterfall Introduction
The Golden Waterfall is located beside the Jinshui Highway in the Shuinandong area of Ruifang District, New Taipei City. Entering the Jinshui Highway via Dongding Road, visitors can see golden-hued rocks along the stream. As you slowly approach the Golden Waterfall, you will be greeted by the sight of turbulent water cascading over the golden rocks. Like the Yin Yang Sea, the Golden Waterfall is a delicate masterpiece of nature. The Jiufen area, due to its high rainfall, exposes "pyrite" contained in the mineral deposits, which sometimes merges with rainwater into the ground, flushing out with sufficient water flow and oxidizing along the way, creating a thick layer of rust sediment and becoming a famous landscape in the Jinguashi area. Beside the waterfall, there is Mount Jinjing, where you can also enjoy a distant view of the beautiful Yin Yang Sea.
