Dream Lake, Xinshe Introduction

Xinshan is located on the ridge extending southward from Youruishan. The summit is covered with numerous rocks and is devoid of vegetation. From the peak of Xinshan, one can enjoy a distant view and a magnificent ridge line. The northeastern side of the ridge features a vertical cliff, while the southwestern side exhibits a 60-degree slope. Due to the significant elevation change along the trails, extra caution is required when climbing. With an elevation of 499 meters, Xinshan stands in stark contrast to Dream Lake, showcasing a majestic mountainous presence. The prominent boulders on the summit offer a view of the northern sea area. Dream Lake is situated at an elevation of approximately 325 meters and often shrouded in mist during winter afternoons, creating a dreamlike ambiance around the lake. It is common to see couples strolling around the lake, warming their love, and many newlyweds choose this location for wedding photography, highlighting the romantic atmosphere and popularity of the trail. Dream Lake not only attracts people but also many small creatures that call this place home. Walking along the trail by Dream Lake, visitors can find pavilions and seats for resting, and they can even use the flat stones around the area as mats to quietly embrace the beauty of nature.
