Xinshan Dream Lake Introduction
Xinxin Mountain is located on the ridge extending south from Youruishan. The summit is covered with numerous rock formations and is devoid of vegetation. Standing on the peak of Xinxin Mountain offers a distant view and a majestic ridge line; the northeastern side of the ridge features a vertical cliff while the southwestern side presents a 60-degree slope. Due to the significant elevation difference along the trail, climbers need to exercise extreme caution. The mountain rises to an elevation of 499 meters, contrasting sharply with Dream Lake, which is situated at about 325 meters. The mountain exudes a commanding presence, and from the prominent boulders at the top, one can see the waters of the Northern Sea. In winter afternoons, Dream Lake often becomes shrouded in fog, creating a dreamlike atmosphere around the lake, making it a popular spot for couples seeking romantic moments and many newlyweds choose this location for wedding photos, highlighting the romantic ambiance and popularity of the trail. In addition to attracting visitors, Dream Lake also draws many small creatures to make it their home. Walking along the trail beside Dream Lake, there are resting pavilions available, and visitors can even use the flat boulders nearby as seats to quietly appreciate the beauty of nature.
