Dream Lake at Xinshe Introduction
Xinshi Mountain is located on a ridge extending south from Youlu Mountain. The summit is covered with numerous rock formations, and no grass grows there. Standing on the peak of Xinshi Mountain offers a distant view and a magnificent skyline. The northeast side of the mountain ridge features a vertical cliff, while the southwest presents a 60-degree slope. Due to the significant elevation changes along the trail, caution is advised when climbing. At an elevation of 499 meters, it contrasts sharply with Dream Lake, showcasing a commanding landscape. From the prominent boulders at the summit, one can see the waters of the North Sea in the distance. Dream Lake is situated at approximately 325 meters above sea level and is often shrouded in mist during winter afternoons, creating a dreamy ambiance around the lake. It's common for couples to stroll around the lake to strengthen their love, and many newlyweds choose this location for wedding photography, reflecting the romantic atmosphere and popularity of the trail. In addition to attracting visitors, Dream Lake also draws many small creatures that make it home. Walking along the path beside Dream Lake, there are pavilions and benches for resting, and visitors can use the flat stones surrounding the area as seats to peacefully enjoy the beauty of nature.
