翠湖步道

The Cuifeng Trail links to the Neigou Mountain Trail in Xizhi, attracting many visitors during the tung blossom season for flower viewing and hiking. The trail is mostly a gentle and easy-to-walk dirt path, accessible from the second entrance of the Neigou Mountain Trail. The Cuifeng Trail was originally a connection path for mining in earlier years and fell into disuse after the mine was closed. After renovations, it was transformed into a hiking trail. Along the way, visitors can see the "Beigang No. 2 Pit Mine Site," which was an important coal mine in Xizhi in the past. After its abandonment, vines gradually covered the traces of the original mine, and only fragments of walls remain for glimpsing the mine's former glory. Additionally, there is "Cuifeng," which was once a water reservoir for miners. Although it appears small and quaint now, it was an essential water source for miners back in the day.
