The Cuihu Trail connects to the Neigou Mountain Trail in Xizhi, attracting many visitors to enjoy the flowers during the tung blossom season. The trail consists mainly of smooth, easy-to-walk dirt paths and can be accessed from the second entrance of the Neigou Mountain Trail to reach Cuihu. The Cuihu Trail was originally a mining access path, which fell into disuse after the mining operations ceased. After renovations, it was transformed into a hiking trail. Along the way, you can see the ruins of the Beigang Erkeng Mine, an important coal mine in Xizhi in earlier years. Over time, vines have gradually covered the remnants of the old mine, and now, only the remaining walls provide a glimpse into its former glory. There's also the Cuihu, which used to be a water reservoir for miners. Although it appears small and quaint today, it was a crucial water source for the miners back then.

The trail mainly consists of gentle and easy-to-walk dirt paths, which can be accessed from the second entrance of the Neigou Mountain Trail. Originally, the Cuihu Trail served as a connector for mining activities in earlier years, but after the mining site was closed, it fell into disrepair. After repairs, it transformed into a hiking trail. Along the way, visitors can see the ruins of the Beigang No. 2 Mine, which was an important coal mining site in Xizhi in the past. After being abandoned, vines gradually covered the original traces of the mine, and now one can only catch glimpses of its former glory through the remaining walls. Additionally, the "Cuihu," which once served as a reservoir for miners, may now appear small and quaint but was an extremely important water source for miners back in the day.
