Zhonggang River Waterfront Trail Introduction
Who would have thought that this popular photo spot used to be a stinky drain? After the renovation, the Zhonggang Drain seems to have new life, with lush greenery on both sides and clear water flowing in the middle, while fish swim freely, rich ecosystems can be seen everywhere. The entrance of the riverside walkway is decorated with a three-dimensional underwater world mural, making it feel like entering an underwater realm; visitors can walk in through the dreamy rainbow bridge. On both sides of the river, there are whimsical painted walls integrated into the landscape material, featuring 3D murals that make it feel immersive. The riverside walkway is divided into four sections: Voice of Green, Movement of Wind, Love of Water, and Dance of Light, which include the Water Dance Experience Area, Static Aquatic Plant Display Area, Water Activity Area, and Ecology Display Area, with a total length of about 2.6 kilometers. The design for accessibility is also very thoughtful, making it convenient for friends using wheelchairs. The ground in the corridors features a lot of changes, with stone slabs occasionally interspersed with wooden bridges, which are novel and interesting even for adults. But just how interesting it is, you may have to come and experience it yourself! Don't forget to take a picture at the "Colorful Building Blocks." The brightly colored large and small blocks scattered throughout the riverway are definitely one of the trendiest photo spots on Instagram, so make sure to snap and upload your beautiful photos!
