Zhonggang Waterway Riverside Park Introduction
Who would have thought that this popular photo spot used to be a stinking ditch? After its renovation, the Zhonggang Drain seems to have gained new life, with greenery flourishing on both sides and clear waters flowing in the center, where fish swim freely and abundant ecology can be seen everywhere. The entrance to the waterfront trail of Zhonggang Drain features a three-dimensional underwater world mural, creating the illusion of entering an aquatic realm through a dreamy rainbow bridge. The banks of the river are adorned with playful murals that blend with the landscape materials, and the 3D paintings make you feel as if you are truly part of the scene. The waterfront trail is divided into four sections: Voice of Green, Movement of Wind, Love of Water, and Dance of Light, which include the Water Dance Experience Area, Static Aquatic Plant Exhibit Area, Water Activity Area, and Ecological Exhibit Area, totaling approximately 2.6 kilometers. The design caters well to accessibility, making it very convenient for wheelchair users. The ground of the corridor features various changes, with stone slabs occasionally interspersed with wooden bridges, providing a unique and fun experience even for adults. However, to truly appreciate how interesting it is, everyone must come and walk through it for themselves! Don’t forget to take a photo with the "Colorful Blocks," a scattering of vibrant blocks of various sizes along the waterway; this spot is a must for the hottest Instagram shots, so be sure to snap and upload those beautiful photos!
