Zhonggang Dapaichin Water Walkway Introduction
Who would have thought that this popular photo spot used to be a stinky ditch? After its restoration, the Zhonggang Drain seems to have gained new life, with lush greenery on both sides and clear water flowing in the middle, where fish swim freely and rich ecology is present everywhere. The entrance to the waterfront trail features a three-dimensional underwater world mural, making it feel like stepping into an underwater realm, entering through a dreamlike rainbow bridge. Colorful mural walls filled with childlike charm line both sides of the river, blending with the landscape, while the 3D art creates an immersive experience. The waterfront trail is divided into four sections: Voice of Green, Movement of Wind, Love of Water, and Dance of Light, each representing different zones such as water dance experience area, static aquatic plant exhibition area, water activity area, and ecological display area, covering a total length of about 2.6 kilometers. The design also accommodates accessibility needs very well, making it easy for friends in wheelchairs to access the area. The ground of the corridor features many variations, with stone paths occasionally interspersed with wooden bridges, adding novelty and interest even for adults. However, to truly appreciate how fun it is, you’d have to come and experience it yourself! Don’t forget to take a photo with the "Colorful Building Blocks," vibrant large and small blocks scattered along the river, making it a popular spot for Instagram-worthy pictures. Be sure to remember to check in and share your beautiful photos!
